Home¶
The Home screen summarizes all your thermal inspection projects: global indicators, an anomaly chart, the location map and the projects table.
Which projects appear
Home shows projects of type Thermal and Thermal + Scanning. To see all your projects, of any type, use All Projects.
Indicators (KPI)¶

How they are calculated:
- Peak Power = sum of units × power of the modules in each project, in MWp.
- CO₂/year = MWp × 1.4 × 0.357 × 1000 (tons; estimate based on annual production and the emission factor).
- A project is considered inspected (Completed) when its full report is available.
Anomaly chart¶

- With a project: number of anomalies per class.
- With All Projects (Summary): the 5 most frequent classes across all your projects.
Colors by class: Cell and Multi-Cell in red, Diode green, String blue, Module yellow, Soiling purple, Polarity orange and the rest gray. If there are no anomalies you'll see All Clear!.
Location map¶
Project Location shows the selected plant (red marker, address and coordinates) or all your plants (blue markers) in summary mode. With a project selected, clicking the map opens its full Map. The marker shows the number of anomalies.

Pagination allows 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 rows per page.
In Process projects
While a project is In Process the number of anomalies may not be final.
User access¶
The Access column shows the initials of the users with access; click to see the full list.
With user management permission, the Add users button also appears: search for a user in your organization and click on them to grant or remove their access to the project (a green check indicates they already have access).
Weather¶
The thermometer button opens the Weather dialog:
- Forecast: forecast for the next 10 days for the plant's location (cloud cover in oktas, temperature, wind, humidity, radiation and chance of rain). The BEST badge marks the day with the highest radiation and TODAY marks the current day. On large screens, hourly detail is shown with IEC reference lines (radiation 300/600 W/m², wind 28 km/h, cloud cover 2 oktas).
- Saved Weather: weather data saved for the flight days.
- Save as Flight Meteo (requires editing permission): saves the forecast for the selected day as the flight's weather data.
Planning the flight
IEC TS 62446-3 recommends inspecting with sufficient irradiance (≥ 600 W/m²), low wind and clear sky. Use the chart's IEC lines to choose the time slot.
If you don't have any projects yet¶
Home will show Project list is empty. Contact STR's sales team or wait for an administrator to assign you your first project.
